Building Energy Smart Program
The Office of Energy Independence has launched the Building Energy Smart (BE$T) program for Iowa’s buildings. The BEST program provides financing for all cost-effective energy improvements, technical assistance and program management for the installation of energy efficient and renewable energy projects. Participants are encouraged to review The Small Building Energy Audit (SBEA) audit process for buildings, up to 5,000 sq. ft.
