Iowa Clean Cities Coalition (ICCC)
The Iowa Clean Cities Coalition (ICCC) was designated by the United States Department of Energy on October 15th, 2005. The ICCC builds strong, self-sustaining partnerships with industry, stakeholders, fleets, fuel suppliers, and business partners with the goal of decreasing petroleum use. The program focuses on alternative fuels and alternative fuel vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles, fuel blends, heavy-truck idle reduction applications, and general fuel economy improvements to help reduce the nation's need for imported oil.
Based in Des Moines, Iowa, the state capitol and the largest city in Iowa, the ICCC coordinates educational activities, promotes renewable fuels and renewable fuel infrastructure, and collaborates with partners to promote emerging technologies in the State of Iowa.
