Governor Culver and the Office of Energy Independence announced the first round of State Energy Program projects to receive federal stimulus awards.

Projects were awarded in the categories of public sector, private sector, non-profit sector, training and information, innovative projects and technology demonstration.

Recovery Act Funding for Iowa $40,546,000
Recovery Act Funding Obligation Deadline September 30, 2010
Ineligible Projects All projects submitted to receive funding through the State Energy Program must utilize current technology. Any early commercialization, research, or development projects should apply for funding through the Iowa Power Fund.
